Assistant Provost & Executive Director, UChicagoGRAD Experience
 
As Assistant Provost and Executive Director of UChicagoGRAD Experience, Brooke co-leads the office responsible for providing supportive services for current and prospective graduate students, graduate alumni, and postdocs across the University’s academic divisions and professional schools. She manages a team of talented colleagues who develop and implement pioneering programs that enable graduate students and postdocs to thrive at UChicago and beyond. Included in her portfolio are resources for career development and employer relations; fellowships and writing; diversity and inclusion; public speaking and networking; and student/postdoc families. Brooke also oversees the Graduate Student Lounge and serves as the advisor to Graduate Council.
 
Brooke’s commitment to working on behalf of UChicago graduate students has spanned over 20 years, culminating with the UChicagoGRAD office that is considered to be a national model for supporting graduate students and postdocs. She has presented on UChicago’s innovative approach at numerous conferences and meetings around the world.
 
Brooke earned her BA in Art History and French at DePauw University, served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Mali, West Africa, and completed the Executive Program for Emerging Leaders at Chicago Booth. In her free time, she enjoys entertaining, volunteering, and laughing with her two teenage sons.
