A. Özge Koçak Hemmat

 

As Associate Director, Özge reports to Vice Provost Melina Hale. She supports administrative modernization initiatives, serves as a liaison for emeriti faculty, provides administrative partnership and support to several research units, and oversees special projects.

 

Özge is a dedicated higher education administrator, as well as a humanities scholar and translator. She joined the the Office of the Provost from the Division of the Humanities, where she worked since 2018. Before joining the University, she had multiple teaching and administrative roles at Northwestern University and prior to that, at Bogazici University in Istanbul.

 

Özge received her PhD in Comparative Literary Studies from Northwestern University.
