As associate director, Cassandra leads the planning, development, and implementation of strategic initiatives in sustainability and environmental research, administrative systems, and other academic resources. She is also deeply involved in the University’s COVID-19 response and supports ad hoc efforts around other initiatives in Vice Provost Melina Hale’s portfolio.
Prior to this, Cassandra was the manager of strategic planning for UChicago Arts, where she helped develop a vision for the future of the University’s arts initiatives. She also previously held roles in the UChicago President’s Office, the Metropolitan Opera, the Huffington Post, and the governor’s office in California.
Cassandra holds a BA from UCLA and an MA from UChicago, and is a current MBA student at the Booth School of Business, where she specializes in economics and behavioral science.
