As mentioned in the June 30 message about Autumn Quarter plans, the University of Chicago asks members of the campus community to adhere to the UChicago Health Pact – a shared commitment to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and protect public health and safety as many members of the University community return to campus.

In order to return to campus, each individual is required to complete an online COVID-19 training program and to attest via an online form that they will comply with the University’s COVID-19 health and safety requirements, which are based on guidance from UChicago Medicine and other public health experts. The UChicago Health Pact is a reminder of these requirements, which include wearing a face covering on campus, maintaining appropriate distance from one another, self-monitoring daily for symptoms of COVID-19, washing hands frequently, adhering to quarantining requirements, and other safety precautions.

As we near Autumn Quarter, we will promote adherence to the pact through additional communications and engagement of our campus community.
