As associate provost, Dillan works with Vice Provost Daniel Abebe on the Lab Schools and key K–12 initiatives. While her work primarily focuses on the needs of University faculty and their families, she is currently staffing the University’s search for the next director of the Lab Schools. Dillan also provides project and organizational management to UChicago Professional Education (UCPE) under Vice Provost Abebe’s leadership. In addition, Dillan works with Vice Provost Mike Hopkins on Office of the Provost partnerships with IT, the Center for Data and Computing, and the Toyota Technological Institute Chicago, among various other initiatives.
From 2017–2019, Dillan oversaw budget, human resources, and operations for the Office of the Provost and led several high-profile strategic initiatives for the University.
Before joining the Office of the Provost, Dillan served as executive director for campaign management in UChicago’s Alumni Relations and Development (ARD) where she helped oversee the expansion of the University’s campaign to $5 billion. Prior to that, Dillan spent 8+ years building new, innovative programs for Career Advancement and was a founding staff member at the Institute of Politics where she founded and led career development and civic engagement programs.
Dillan is a Hyde Park native and attended the Lab Schools. She has a degree in psychology from Yale and has an MBA in managerial and organizational behavior from the Booth School of Business.
