Assistant Director, Faculty Recognition and Awards
 
Jonathan Trotter is the Assistant Director of Faculty Recognition and Awards in the Office of the Provost. He collaborates with senior leadership across the University to identify and prioritize prestigious awards and honors and advance highly competitive nominations on behalf of faculty. In partnership with the Vice Provost Katherine Kinzler, Jon develops strategies to increase external recognition of the University’s faculty at all career stages.
 
Prior to joining the Office of the Provost, Jon taught at the University of Notre Dame, Lewis University, and Loyola University Chicago. He has published one book (The Jerusalem Temple in Diaspora Jewish Thought during the Second Temple Period) and numerous articles on the study of ancient Judaism and Christianity. He received his BA from the University of Michigan, his MA from Yale University, and his PhD from the University of Notre Dame, all in Biblical Studies.
