Academic Affairs and Human Resources Specialist

 

Katheryn Rotthoff is the Academic Affairs and Human Resources Specialist in the Office of the Provost. She advises and collaborates with academic affairs staff across the University to track and approve academic appointments for visitors and postdocs. In partnership with Christine Marrie and Janice Cobb, Kath contributes to the organization and tracking of academic appointments to ensure compliance with University policies and statutes. She also assists with various HR matters.
 
Prior to joining the Office of the Provost, Katheryn worked in human resources at BNY Mellon in Pittsburgh, PA. She has lived and worked in Pittsburgh, Seattle, and now Chicago. She received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Washington and Jefferson College. 
 
Outside of work, Kath enjoys hiking, running, playing beach volleyball, attending comedy shows, and trying new recipes at home.
