Associate Provost
 
As associate provost, Dillan works with Vice Provost Daniel Abebe on UChicago Professional Education, the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools and N–12 initiatives, the Diverse Learners Benefit and other benefits for University employees, such as tuition remission, Chapin Hall, and special projects. Dillan manages partnerships, provides strategic and organizational management, resolves complex challenges, and leads change management projects for the units and programs in the Vice Provost’s portfolio.
 
From 2017-2019, while working for the Deputy Provost and Vice President for Strategic Initiatives, Dillan oversaw the Office of the Provost’s budget, human resources, and operations for a large team and led several high-profile strategic initiatives for the University, such as the Clinton Global Initiative at UChicago, the yearlong series of events for Nuclear Reactions, and high-level leadership searches.
 
Before joining the Office of the Provost in 2017, Dillan served as executive director for campaign management in UChicago’s Alumni Relations and Development where she managed the University’s $5 billion campaign and worked with 20+ University units to achieve their campaign goals. Prior to that, Dillan spent 8+ years building new, innovative programs for students at Career Advancement and was a founding staff member at the Institute of Politics where she founded and led 40+ career development and civic engagement programs. These programs ensured that students had avenues to learn about and pursue social impact and public policy careers.
 
Dillan is a Hyde Park native and attended the Lab Schools. She has a degree in psychology from Yale and has an MBA in managerial and organizational behavior from the Booth School of Business. She speaks Italian and enjoys traveling and living life with her partner.
