Elder Care Consultation Program
Many individuals and families find themselves in situations where they may need some assistance in caring for an aging or elderly parent. The University offers a consultation and referral service to provide assistance in evaluating your elder care needs and find appropriate solutions that fit your family and your lifestyle. The Elder Care Consultation Program through Perspectives Ltd. is available at no charge to you, though you are responsible for the cost of any care arrangements you may choose to make. The program provides assistance in evaluating your elder care needs and making appropriate arrangements. The referral service is available at no charge to you, but you are responsible for the elder care services you choose.
You are eligible for this service if you are a University:
- employee;
- retiree; or
- employee or retiree's family member

You may call Perspectives Ltd. at 800.456.6327 to speak with a trained counselor about your elder care needs. The counselor can provide you with information related to the following:
- Day/nursing/respite/hospice care
- Home health/homemaker
- Nutrition/housing services
- Transportation/recreation
- Retirement facilities & planning
- Leisure time pursuits
- Volunteer opportunities
- Adult education options
- Travel and tour option
