Starr Marcello

As special advisor to the provost for non-degree programs, Starr Marcello collaborates with academic units and faculty to develop, market, and launch new non-degree programs, broadening the University of Chicago’s educational reach and impact. She also serves as deputy dean for MBA and masters programs at the Booth School of Business, where she oversees the full-time, evening, weekend, and executive MBA programs, as well as Booth’s specialized master in management and master in finance programs.

Ranjan Daniels

As special advisor to the vice provost, Ranjan Daniels collaborates with academic units and faculty to support the growth and resource management of master’s programs. He also serves as senior associate dean, student recruitment and global outreach at the Harris School of Public Policy, where he oversees admissions, marketing, financial aid, executive education, and international partnerships.

Josh Beck

As associate provost, Josh Beck works closely with academic divisions, professional schools, and administrative units to promote the equitable and optimal assignment and use of campus space in support of academic programs, balanced within the broader context of campus-wide programming and strategic planning initiatives.

Michael Hayes

As Dean of Students in the University, Mike Hayes works with senior leaders across the institution to develop and promote opportunities for students’ intellectual, professional, and personal growth and to provide co-curricular support as students pursue their programs of study and prepare for post-graduate life. He works closely with the provost; vice provosts; and deans of students in the College, graduate divisions, and professional schools to identify and attend to areas of mutual concern as they relate to the quality and impact of campus life at the University of Chicago.
